Panoramic views will complement a special garden tasting at Mont du Toit.
We have developed an indigenous garden with a sample of the thousands of plants growing in the Western Cape biome. This lies on the highest point on the farm.
Against the backdrop of the majestic Hawequa mountain one can savor a view stretching from Simonsberg in the south west, across the pearly Paarl rock, the Paardeberg and the Riebeek mountains to the north. The tasting will start in the late afternoon, hosted by Stephan (Owner) or Philip (Winemaker).
Guests will be welcome to sip the wines till sunset, together with bread, cheese, olive oil and olives.
At least six wines will be offered plus one surprise older vintage.
The group may not exceed eight guests, but may be booked for a single tasting (booking fee will however remain R1500)
Children and pets are welcome to join.
Please note, Our clean as you go policy applies to the young and furry guests too.
**Pets visiting must please be up to date with all required inoculations.
Booking is required and weather permitting.
